Tómbola del Cuy Online: a Peruvian game reimagined as a digital giveaway
Tómbola del Cuy recalls a popular game found at Peruvian fairs and celebrations: small houses, a lively route and the anticipation of where the winner will be. Cuy Sorter respectfully brings that cultural inspiration to an online random draw.
Everything happens on screen. No real animal is used, SorteosUp does not recreate an activity involving animals, and this is not a betting platform. It is a digital way to add Peruvian character to a names-based giveaway.
What is Tómbola del Cuy?
The traditional reference is about watching the houses and waiting for the reveal. SorteosUp keeps that sense of suspense with a Cuy animation moving through a Peru-inspired village.
Use it for a community activity, classroom, event or celebration. Keeping Tómbola del Cuy in Spanish protects the cultural name while the context makes the Peruvian game understandable internationally.
How to run a giveaway with the Cuy
Add participants from a list and choose whether you need names only, emails or identifiers. Set winners and alternates, review organiser details and continue through SorteosUp's giveaway flow.
The Cuy explores the village to create a memorable reveal. It works for a simple draw among friends as well as a larger activity with clearly recorded winners and alternates.
A random name picker with more character than a standard wheel
A wheel or ordinary name picker solves a practical task; Cuy Sorter adds a visual story inspired by Tómbola del Cuy. It still works as an online random name picker for your list.
The Cuy, houses and route give the announcement personality, while participants, names and alternates remain central. It is a digital alternative for surprise without losing an organised process.
An online giveaway with a verifiable certificate
Once the giveaway is complete, its public SorteosUp certificate can be shared with participants, customers or your community. It helps document the occasion and communicate the result transparently.
You can also replay the Cuy animation without running another draw. A replay keeps the exact same result, so you can share the reveal again without changing the recorded giveaway.
Tómbola del Cuy, now online
Cuy Sorter brings Peruvian visual culture, a random name draw and a verifiable certificate into one digital experience. Connect it with other SorteosUp tools when your activity needs another list format.
One simple question opens the scene: where will the winner be? Let the route keep anticipation alive, then share the final reveal when the chosen house appears.
